Definitons of Terms:

SEM – SEM, or search engine marketing, is a form of Internet marketing that involves the promotion of sites by increasing their visibility on search engines through advertising.

SEO – SEO, or search engine organization, is the process of affecting the visibility of a site in a search engine’s results.

Blogroll – A list of other blogs that a blogger might recommend by providing links to them.

Feedback – The return of information about the result of a process or activity.

Content – The individual items or topics that are dealt with in a publication or document.

Archives – A place or collection containing records, documents, or other materials of historical interest.

Hits -The amount of times a page has been viewed.

Ping – Used to find out whether or not an IP address is accessible or not.

Troll – Someone on the Internet who deliberately starts arguments and insults people.

Tag – An element of code in a computer document used to make a hyperlink.

Plug In – A software component that adds a specific feature to an existing software application.
